Magnetic Reversals and Evolutionary Leaps

All planetary life is held and sustained by the magnetic fields of the Earth. Our thoughts, feelings and memories are supported by magnetic fields. Our physical bodies are linked with etheric, astral and causal bodies through these same magnetic fields. Our memories of the past and even our sense of human identity could not exist without reference to these magnetic fields. Our entire collective history is recorded within subconscious fields of memory, sometimes known as the akashic records, which direct and influence our evolutionary journey as a species.

 

Scientists tell us that the magnetic fields of the Earth has weakened by almost half over the past few thousand years. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, this decline has accelerated during the past 400 years, and continues to decline exponentially in recent times. About 10% of this decline took place between the early 1800’s and the year 2000, at the rate of roughly 5% per century. And now, according to the European Space Agency, who recently sent up an array of 3 satellites to specifically measure these magnetic fields, it is falling at the rate of 5% each decade, much faster than anyone had imagined.

 

Not only is the geomagnetic field of the earth weakening, but also the poles have been drifting into new positions at a rapidly accelerating pace. The current movement of the north magnetic pole is towards Siberia at the incredible speed of approximately 50 kilometers a year. From their study of earlier cycles of history, scientists across the globe are coming to recognize that this phenomenon of magnetic decline is usually followed by a sudden reversal of magnetic polarity, where north becomes south and south becomes north. This reversal is generally preceded by a period of time when the north-south magnetic axis begins to break down into two or three separate magnetic axes, which is currently happening. Although there is still debate about what the exact periodicity of these reversals might be, science researcher Robert Felix presents evidence that this could be linked with so-called Milankovitch cycles and could be as short as 11,500 years or 12,000 years (See evolutionaryleaps.com).

 

Furthermore, we are told that the entire process of reversal could take place within a single human lifetime, and that once the fields begin to collapse the final phase of reversal could happen within a matter of hours or days (See my earlier book, Year Zero: Time of the Great Shift).

 

Astrophysicist Paul LaViolette links the periodicity of magnetic reversals on earth with recurring bursts of galactic superwaves that emanate as pulses of cosmic and gamma rays from the center of our galaxy every 10-14 thousand years. As these superluminal bursts of cosmic rays pass through our solar system, it generates a sequence of events within our sun, which then impacts the magnetic fields of all planets in our solar system, including the earth. Scientific as well as historical research indicates that the most recent magnetic reversal took place approximately 11,500 years ago, which leads to the possibility that the next reversal could take place anytime now. A reversal generally takes place when the magnetic fields of the earth drop down to about 15% or 20% of their original field strength, simultaneous with strong incoming flares from the sun. At the rate of current exponential collapse, this could well happen within a decade or two!

 

So what does all this mean for humanity and the earth? Many of us have been experiencing an increasing sense of disorientation and chaos in our emotional, mental and physical bodies. We have been experiencing intense emotional upheavals, breakdowns of the nervous and immune systems, loss of memory, and distortion of personal identity, often accompanied by powerful kundalini activations and psychic awakenings, all of which is reflected in our collective psyche as well.

 

About seven years ago I had journeyed to Guatemala with Maya priests, Norbert and Christina Muigg, to seek out Don Alejandro Cirilo, head of the Mayan Council of Elders. I was curious about what many had been saying about the Mayan calendar as a map of human consciousness, and what some had been referring to as the end of the Mayan calendar in the year 2012.

 

Don Cirilo expressed some displeasure that many New Age researchers had been using the Mayan teachings as a springboard for speculations that had nothing to do with the Mayan calendar or tradition. He cautioned us not to get too caught up in doomsday scenarios or linear dates, and shared that their most important prophecy had to do with a period known to them as the three days of darkness, during which a great shift would take place within the consciousness of humanity.

 

He emphasized that this was not something to be afraid of, but something which we have eagerly awaited for many thousands of years. These three days referred to a tunnel between the worlds, culminating in the birth of a new species of humanity, homo luminous.

 

Meanwhile, studies of volcanic eruptions during times of magnetic reversal indicate that the last phase of a magnetic field collapse usually happens very quickly, in the space of a few hours or days, following which the magnetic field re-organizes itself with reversed polarity.  As I explore our current understanding of these discoveries in the context of ancient prophecies and calendar systems, it appears that these three days of darkness that the Mayas refer to could well be referring to this last phase of the Earth’s magnetic field collapse and reversal, corresponding also to the dawning of the Sixth Sun in Toltec and Inka prophecy.

 

If so, what might we expect might happen during these three days of darkness? If our subtle bodies are linked together through magnetic fields what would happen as these magnetic fields begin to collapse and reorient? If our sense of identity is based on a continuity of thoughts, feelings and memories anchored within the magnetic fields of the earth, what would happen as these fields of memory temporarily unraveled?  If our senses and perceptions of reality are based on an alignment between our subtle bodies, which are in turn anchored to the magnetic fields of the earth, how would this change our experience of the world around and within us?

 

There is a matrix of collective human conditioning that each of us plugs into the moment we take incarnation on this planet. Like all fields, this matrix is electromagnetic in nature. Over the past few cycles of human history this matrix has become programmed by rigid expressions of greed, violence and fear, creating a collective veil of separation and duality that the ancient Vedic seers referred to as maya.

 

There is however a subtler source of identity that most of us are not always in touch with, which we might refer to as the soul. This is an identity that goes deeper than our experience of the world in any given incarnation, and has to do with a continuity of memory and experience throughout our vast sojourns within a universe of time and space.

 

Is it possible that as we make the transition through the three days of darkness that this entire electromagnetic matrix of maya could become temporarily disengaged, allowing us to recalibrate our identities in according with the multi-dimensional realms of the soul? Is this why some mystical traditions have stated that for the advanced soul these times of magnetic reversal are the most auspicious times to be on Earth?

 

My own sense is that although most humans may end up falling ‘asleep’ during this transition, those who can prepare themselves by unifying their physical body with their subtle light bodies, will be enabled to journey through these three days of darkness with full awareness, thus serving as a bridge between the current consensus of reality and the infinite potential available to us from the highest levels of creation. We can choose to collaborate with the forces of galactic creation to birth a new evolution on Earth.

 

Contrary to Darwin’s hypothesis, many biologists today have come to the realization that evolution does not happen in a ‘slow and stately’ manner but rather in swift and dramatic leaps directly linked with magnetic reversals.

 

What is the mechanism behind these evolutionary leaps? The magnetic field of the earth not only organizes life on earth but also acts as a shield against storms of cosmic radiation constantly moving through interplanetary space. When the magnetic fields of the earth collapse, so does this magnetic shielding. In the brief period of time surrounding a magnetic reversal, highly amplified levels of cosmic radioactivity pour down through our unprotected atmospheric belts, creating a ripple of biological mutations across the earth, skies and seas. Many species go extinct and entirely new species are birthed, all in the space of a single generation.

 

Earlier cycles of magnetic reversal were accompanied by peaks in earthquake and volcanic activity, which created widespread and often cataclysmic changes on the planet. In the cycle immediately prior to our own, we also experienced a displacement of crustal plates, which led to the sinking and rising of entire continents.

 

So what is our own role within these evolutionary times?

 

Many esoteric traditions correlate the degree of catastrophic change experienced during a magnetic reversal with the collective consciousness existing on the planet during that time.  James Lovelock, an English biologist, refers to the Earth as a living conscious biological organism, and hypothesizes that humans are perhaps the nervous system of this larger organism, which he refers to as Gaia.

 

Could it be that our role is to be conduits between galactic forces and the living intelligence of Gaia? Is there a unified field of intelligence currently anchored within the higher fields of Gaia that can be accessed in order to make this transition smoother and easier?   Are there enough human beings on this planet who have evolved to a stage of consciousness where we can collectively direct our own evolutionary course?

 

Evolution and involution are two expressions of the same movement. The evolution of life on earth has to do with a long series of genetic mutations within the matrix of Gaia’s evolving consciousness. Meanwhile, the Self is on a journey of involution, awakening to itself within the consciousness of matter. As we refine our nervous systems, we become a bridge between the worlds. The radioactivity unleashed during a magnetic reversal could then be harmonized within the consciousness of Gaia towards the manifestation of an entirely new wave of biological creation.

 

There is a new electromagnetic matrix that many of us are becoming aware of at this time. It is an evolutionary matrix that carries informational codes for activating new levels of genetic potential.  Over a hundred years ago, the great mystic seer Sri Aurobindo referred to a supramental descent soon to take place, where unified fields of light would begin to penetrate the very heart of matter, resulting in tremendous leaps of evolutionary potential and the creation of entire new species on earth, including a new species of humanity which he referred to as the divine human.

 

The three days of darkness could be thus be an unprecedented opportunity for creator consciousness to incarnate into matter. This could initiate the next stage of our evolution as the homo luminous or divine human. To the extent that we can remain conscious during the magnetic reversal, it might even allow a certain number of individuals to evolve into a further stage of evolution that Sri Aurobindo referred to as the supramental human.

What would be the mechanism for such a process?

 

Scientists tell us that under certain conditions the pineal gland produces massive amounts of DMT, which is the same substance contained in plant medicines such as ayahuasca, used by shamans for accessing alternate worlds or dimensions. When a person dies and their heart stops, the magnetic field normally generated by the heart collapses. As this heart-generated magnetic field collapses, DMT is spontaneously generated within the pineal gland, which in turn opens a doorway between worlds so that the person can exit their physical body and move into subtler levels of existence.  DMT is also produced in large quantities during the passage of birth.

 

This same DMT is also produced by the pineal gland when the earth’s magnetic field weakens or collapses. During such an event, the spike in DMT experienced on a collective level could well open up dimensional doorways between the worlds. Could we use this moment to dissolve the illusory matrix of suffering, duality and fear, and consciously choose a different reality?

 

 As we have seen, magnetic reversals are also associated with a massive increase in cosmic radioactivity.  Radioactivity causes mutations, and radioactive mutations are generally harmful to biological life. Yet, there are certain receptors in the brain, known as cannabinoid receptors, which respond to the presence of DMT by rendering a person immune to the ill effects of nuclear radiation.

 

Is it possible that during a magnetic reversal these receptors would become activated by the collective activation of DMT, such that our DNA could mutate positively under the direction of a higher planetary or galactic intelligence? Is this the mechanism for how evolution makes quantum shifts during magnetic reversals so that an entirely new range of species could be created within a single generation?

 

To the extent that we realize ourselves as active creators rather than passive observers, the radioactivity unleashed during a magnetic reversal can be directed with conscious intent towards the birth of a new multi-dimensional species of humanity. Each reversal is an evolutionary reset.

 

As we pass through the three days of darkness, we can dissolve the programming held within the subconscious matrix of human history, release old identities based on fear and illusion, pierce through the veils of maya that keep us in ignorance of our true Self, and take our place as divine humans, wide-browed creators playing within the field of our own creation, expressing our highest potential and creativity as multidimensional beings of light!
